Booking as early as possible is recommended, especially for weddings and peak event seasons. Dates are secured once the signed agreement and retainer are received.

Absolutely. Clients are encouraged to share must-play songs, preferred genres, and songs to avoid before the event.
Guest requests during the event will be granted when appropriate and aligned with the client’s preferences and event atmosphere.

Yes. Travel is available for select events. Additional travel fees may apply depending on location and distance.

Yes. Standard DJ equipment is included with most packages. Additional sound, lighting, microphones, or specialty enhancements may be added based on event needs.

Every event is different. Factors such as event length, venue location, travel requirements, guest count, sound coverage, and additional equipment can affect the final investment.
Policy Section
Retainer & Payment
A non-refundable retainer is required to secure all bookings. Dates are not reserved until both the signed agreement and retainer are received.
Remaining balances must be paid no later than 21 days before the event date.
Cancellation Policy
All retainers are non-refundable due to the reservation of your event date and preparation time.
Rescheduling Policy
One reschedule may be permitted if requested at least 90 days before the event date and subject to availability.
Overtime Policy
Additional event time requested beyond the contracted hours will be billed at:
Package extended hour rate
Overtime must be approved by both parties.
Travel Fees
Events outside of the standard service area may incur additional travel and lodging fees.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
Providing adequate power access
Ensure a safe performance environment
Communicating venue restrictions ahead of time
Confirming event timelines and details
Outdoor Events
For outdoor events, proper overhead coverage and weather protection must be provided for all DJ equipment.
Music Request & Event Details
Final playlists, timelines, and event details should be submitted at least 7 days before the event to ensure proper preparation.
Equipment & Damages
Clients are responsible for damages caused by guests, venue staff, or negligence involving DJ equipment during the event.
Professional Conduct
DJ Kyn reserves the right to end services without refund in cases involving unsafe conditions, harassment, violence, or inappropriate conduct toward staff.
Force Majeure
DJ Kyn shall not be held liable for circumstances beyond reasonable control including severe weather, emergencies, venue issues, power outage, or acts of God.
